The Kindergarten Syllabus contains detailed daily lesson plans for Religion, Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Poetry, Art and Music. It also contains a variety of teaching resources including Kindergarten Subject Rubrics and Learning Objectives, suggested daily schedules, teaching tips and several lists of grade level appropriate literature.

In Religion we use the Children's Bible (Golden Press) to familiarize the student with the Bible stories that will help him to acquire true principles in order to form correct judgments about the world. In Mathematics we use the Golden Step Ahead Workbooks OR ABeka's Numbers Skills Arithmetic K5 to introduce the student to the world of numbers and basic addition and subtraction. In Reading we use Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons (Engelman, Haddox, and Bruner) which has lessons for the student to read and clear teaching instructions for the parent. In Writing we use Writing Our Catholic Faith Kindergarten to introduce the student to the formation of letters. In Poetry we use The Harp and Laurel Wreath or A Child's Garden of Verse which provide excellent selections of poetry for the parent to read to the student and for the student to memorize. In Science we encourage a love of the natural world through a variety of science projects in Kindergarten Science (MODG). And in Social Studies we use Kindergarten Social Studies (MODG) to introduce the branches of government, important historical site and famous landmarks. In Art we use the Kindergarten Art (MODG) to introduce the student to art appreciation along with a variety of kits from Illuminated Ink to provide the student with hands on craftwork. In Music we use Our Catholic Hymns (MODG) to introduce the student to music through practice and appreciation of the great hymns of the Church. In addition the syllabus has several lists of good literature for the student broken down by the liturgical year, a calendar of saints and a general list of literature.

Online versions of the MODG syllabi are provided to enrolled families free of charge. Paper copies of the syllabi are also available for purchase from the MODG office, with a 30% discount for enrolled families.
